USA wins last game of 2008 1-0

The USA finished off their fantastic year with another 1-0 win over China. Heather O'Reilly got the winning goal in the 34th minute to seal the victory for the United States. That was Heather's 10th goal of the year and she also has 10 assits to go along with it, which makes her only the sixth player in USA WNT soccer history to score in double-double figures. Mia Hamm did it 5 times, Abby Wambach twice, while Carin Gabarra, Tiffeny Millbret, and Shannon MacMillin each did it once. This was the USA's 33rd victory of the year, and what a fantastic year it was. The US not only won every tournament they were in this year (Four Nations, Algarve Cup, Olympic Qualifiers, Peace Queen Cup, and the Beijing Olympics), they also have the record for most wins in a calender year.
